About the Three Mile Landfill 

The Three Mile Canyon Landfill is a Solid Waste Landfill (MSW). This landfill collects household garbage and is regulated by the Summit County Solid Waste Division and the Utah State Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste. Household Hazardous Waste is collected at the Three Mile Canyon Landfill to protect groundwater and surface water. When Household Hazardous Waste is disposed of improperly it can migrate into the environment.
