Instructions & Requirements
Ordering waste collection bins for NEW households
A Certificate of Occupancy is required to order waste and recycling bins for all new construction. You must provide your name, address, telephone number and the certificate of occupancy. New Service is established by filling out the New Service Form. New bins will take approximately 5 to 7 business days to be delivered. Please contact Summit County Public Works for more information at (435) 336-3970.

Updating your billing information after moving into an EXISTING home
Are you the new owner of an EXISTING home? Please fill out the Updated Billing Form to ensure your information is up-to-date with Summit County's Solid Waste Provider, Republic Services. You must provide your name, address, phone number, email, and closing date.

Ordering additional waste disposal bins
Additional waste disposal bins and service can be purchased at an additional cost through Republic Services.
Damaged waste collection bins
To have a damaged bin repaired or replaced please contact Republic Services.
Lost or missing waste bins
Summit County provides all residential units with one waste disposal bin and one recycling bin. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to keep track of their waste collection bins. If either of the bins are missing it is the homeowners responsibility to replace the bin at an additional fee through Republic Services.
