Old Ranch Road Side Path

In 2024, Summit County plans to improve a section of Old Ranch Road and install a paved trail between the Old Ranch Road Trailhead and Willow Creek Park. Once installed, there will be a complete bicycle route from SR-224 to Highland Drive.

Millenium Trail

As part of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project currently planned to start construction in 2024, Summit County will construct a 10' wide paved transportation trail parallel to SR-224. The trail will serve as a connector segment on the west side of the State Highway between the Hyatt and other pedestrian infrastructure on Canyons Resort Drive.
