Active Transportation Plan
Summit County has started the process of updating its Active Transportation Plan, working with consulting firm Fehr & Peers to gather public input, assess priorities and opportunities, and prepare a final plan. The storymap and introduction to the new plan is live now at this link. Please read about the process and submit your comments at the survey linked at the end.
The county first adopted an Active Transportation Plan in 2019. The plan provides direction for new bicycling and walking routes or improvement to existing ones. The plan also includes recommended phasing, design standards, and potential funding opportunities. Click here to view the 2019 Active Transportation Plan.
Active Transportation Scorecard (Coming Soon)
Summit County will publish its first active transportation scorecard which will be updated biannually and serve as a barometer for how well the county's active transportation goals are being met.
Request-A-Rack Program
Summit County and Park City Municipal have partnered to increase bicycle parking. The program offers free bicycle racks and installation for businesses within Summit County. Click HERE to submit a request.
