What's the difference between a Special Event Permit and an Event License?

Special Event Permit:

Permission granting an event organizer the ability to host a special temporary occasion after inspection, safety regulations and approval. (eg. farmers market, road race)

Event License:

Formal permission to conduct and operate a business, occupation or profession (Summit County Clerk; eg. involving customers, vendors, alcohol consumption.)
