[ARCHIVED] Decision Delayed on Dakota Pacific Development Agreement

Dakota Pacific Development Agreement Public Input Session_Deck

At last night’s County Council meeting (12/15/21), Dakota Pacific requested a pause on their proposed amendment to the Dakota Pacific development agreement.

Their request followed the December 1st public input session that saw significant community turnout.

The County Council supported Dakota Pacific’s request to delay the application. Unanimously Council agreed that a different approach to this project is necessary to move forward, one that is demonstrably in the community’s interest.

Dakota Pacific representatives expressed that they recognize that there is still work to be done to create a better program for the property. They plan to present a revised proposal to Council and the community at large, hoping to engage in earnest in the first quarter of 2022. However, no formal timeline was decided.
