The Summit County Council is seeking nominations from interested citizens desiring to serve on the County Manager Selection Committee. Please submit your name or a nominee’s name, if other than yourself, to be considered for this committee. Committee members must be registered voters of Summit County. You do not need to be a registered Summit County voter to nominate an eligible resident.
The Selection Committee will be appointed by the County Council and will consist of a minimum of five to a maximum of nine individuals. The Selection Committee will interview the candidates; review their qualifications and skills; and recommend a list of at least three names to the County Council who may select one of the persons on the list to serve as the county manager. In the event the council is not satisfied with the candidates chosen by the selection committee, the Council may ask the committee to send them at least three more names.
